delete a print job

How can I delete a partially completed print job?
I open the printer dialog box, cancel the job, but it remains, even through
a reboot.
I am running Vista Home Premium.

Thank you.

Stop the print spooler service first. Then go back to the printer dialog
box and you will be able to delete the job.

Start Orb>Search box, type:

cmd [enter]

When cmd appears above, right-click it and choose "run as
Administrator". At the cmd prompt that appears, do:

net stop spooler [enter]

Now you can cancel your print job and then restart the spooler:

net start spooler [enter]

Hi,
I have the same problem cancelling print jobs. I tried the stop spooler,
but when I try to delete the print job I get a message the spooler is not
running and to restart it. When I do I still can't delete the job.
Thanks

Jajaja ...
I think I got it !!

I have the same problem...
A stoped and deleted print job that never die !!

So I stop the spooler ( remember to open a CMD window)
net stop spooler [enter]

Go to this folder in my Vista
C:\Windows\System32\spool\PRINTERS

There is files with the extension .SHD and .SPL, it comes in pairs, for
example:
FP00011.SHD and FP00011.SPL

I open One of then and found that one is the Word that I want to print.
So I delete the two files.

I started again the spooler
net start spooler [enter]

And Voila !!

Best regards

Nicolas
