Deleating E Mail contacts

I canot remove old contacts from the contact list. When delete is pushed the
system shuts down. I am using vista Home premieum
 
Did this problem start after July 10th? Some people have obtained relief
of this Contacts problem by uninstalling Windows Update KB933928.
If all else fails, try upgrading to Windows Live Mail.
