Delaying login scripts

Is there a good way to make a login script "pause" or slow down while
mapping network drives ? We currently use a kix32 file that maps network
drives upon user login and, depending on the connectivity, some users get
some but not all the drives.

take a look at the command "sleep" in kix

And then there's the poor man's SLEEP:

REM sleep 10 seconds
ping -n 10 127.0.0.1 >nul 2>&1
