Delayed time when typing in Microsoft Word

Every time I try to update or open a new document the
typing is delayed, I type several words before it starts
to appear on the page, please help, as it is very
frustrating

I have also heard that Norton System Works or Norton Antivirus can cause
this kind of problem.
Also it may be necessary to upgrade your video display card drivers.
