H H Leboeuf Jul 1, 2004 #2 You are talking about Windows explorer and not Internet Explorer? When was the last time you Defragged your disks? Do you use many long, I mean long file names? Font loading can cause some delays. What is loading at start up? Run MSCONFIG from the start/run applet and look under StartUp tab.
