Delay opening shared folders

My network is composed of:

Computer 1: Desktop PC, OS XP Pro.
Computer 2: Portable Compaq, OS XP Home.
Router with dsl modem.

Everithing works well except:

When opening 'Network Neighborhood' in Computer, 2 I see
shared folders in computer 1, but when triying to open
them, it takes more than 10 minutes to do it !!!
However if I open 'Network Neighborhood' in Computer 1
and try to open shared folders in Computer 2, it open the
folders right away with no delay at all.

Any sugestions ?

Uncheck share files and printers in network properties of
computer 2, reboot and then mark them again.
