delay in logging in to Outlook Express

Everytime I log into Outlook Express there seems to be a
delay of about 2 or 3 minutes before there is a prompt to
enter my password. This just started yesterday and it is
really frustrating me. I can connect to the internet just
fine but Outlook just seems to be taking alot longer than
normal so I don't think it is a connection problem. Any
thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Try posting this in an Outlook Express news group - this is not one of them.
Outlook is a part of Microsoft Office and is what this group supports.
Outlook Express is a part of Internet Explorer and has its own news groups.

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. Due to
the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.
