After I do my disk defragmenting, I still have several files that fail to
defragment. Most of them are image caches. How do I totally clean up these
fragments?

Purchase and use a third party defragmentation applications.
I don't think you will see as much of a performance increase as you might be
expecting by doing so - but you never know. =)

Raxco PerfectDisk or Executive Software's DiskKeeper come to mind as
alternatives.

The amount of free space is very important when running Disk Defragmenter. A
minimum of 15% is required but sometimes 20% is desirable if the drive /
partition
contains one or more large files. You can run Disk Defragmenter a second and
third
time if files are still fragmented after the first run.

Hope this helps.
