defragmenter

Hi,
When my Windows XP pro sits for a while the
defragmenter seems to run all by its self
and locks the machine. I have to unplug it to
get it to stop! The weird thing is that you never
see the defrag screen. The only way that I know this
is happening is that I have the task manager open
and it says Defrag.
I don't have it set as a scheduled task or anything,
it come on for no reason. It doesn't need to be defrag
because I just did it the other day.

It does a special defrag every three days.
