Defragment

Forgive me if you've seen this before, I don't know if I'm doing this right.
I post but nothing shows. Thinking I need to wait, I wait, but the next day
it still isn;t there.

My problem is defraging my harddrive. The program opens up, but when I press
on the defrag button, there is no response.

I downloaded Microsofts defragmenter, and although it won't work either at
least it gives me a reason.

"Windows cannot defragment the drive because it has been locked by a disk
uitility. Quit any utilities that may have locked this drive and try
defragmenting the drive again."

Would anyone know what disk utility it is referring to? :-)

Perhaps it is referring to wintroll.exe ;-)
