defrag

is their any way to reinstall defrag? becuase when i look
at my hardrive properities it say no defraf tool i
scurrently installed .....

Ok Neo,lets see if you have the files available to

windows then.Go to start,,,run,,,type in(or copy and
paste this) %SystemRoot%\System32\dfrg.msc then
click OK.Does the defrag utility come up hopefully yes.If
not post back.

If that does work then right click on an empty spot on

your desktop,then select new,then shortcut...then in
location of this item type in or copy-paste
%SystemRoot%\System32\dfrg.msc
then access it from your desktop.Or put it in all
programs.

didnt work and i dont have a win xp cd

%SystemRoot% means the folder where Windows is installed. For many people
this is c:\windows.

Try again with c:\windows\system32\dfrg.msc.
