defrag screwed my free space

In order to defrag my slave drive i had to move some of
it's contents onto the desktop. I then defraged my slave
drive, and attempted to move all of the moved contents
back to the slave drive.

It is now telling me i do not have enough FREE DISK SPACE
for the files. that is impossible-- they fit there
before!!

Please help- i am desperate!

make a folder on your C: drive like TEMP. Drag the contents there and then
copy from there to your D: or whatever it is.

You do not say how much space is available, nor the size of the filez

plz be more detailed
