Definitions update

After I install Defender, I am unable to complete a definitions update. The
error 0x80244001 comes up. I have removed defender and reloaded twice but
the same error keeps coming up. would appreciate your help.

Have you tried going to Windows Update and checking for available updates?

Just out of interest. What version of Windows are you using?
