Deferred action folder

I am backing up my exchange with Veritas 9.1. In the exchange mailbox for a
user there is a folder for deferred action messages. In one of my users, this
is filled with messages. They have been there for quite a while. How do I go
in and manualy purge them. I know they are in a hidden folder in the store
and I know that they come from the rules wizard from profile based rulles. We
have looked at this users rules and they all look like they are server based
rules. There are no grayed out rules. I know that the system is supposed to
delete the messages after 60 days. It does not look like it is happening. My
question is how do I manage this and delete any stuck rules that may be
creating these messages and how do I manualy purge the current messages
stored there?

You can use the free MFCMAPI tool from Microsoft to delete them. (Just search the KB.)
