Defender gives false impression (green) after scan has been aborte

Returning from an away weekend, I booted my PC from cold. WinDefend
auto-started and really slowed everything down so I open it and aborted the
scan. At first it showed yellow = fair enough since it had been aborted,
rather than completing naturally. BUT, I went to look at the options (to stop
it autostarting on boot-up) and when I came back it now shows green, saying
"No unwanted or harmful software detected. Your computer is running
normally." which is rather misleading.

The Event Log also just says "scan has finished" and doesn't indicate that,
in fact, it was aborted which might be significant later.
(Note: there is a warning event before that to say "scan has been stopped
before completion" but that is no good if you don't read that separate event!

Once WD notifies you about the status (yellow), it resorts back to green.
You have already been notified.
It will stay yellow until you check it out.

As far as Event Viewer, the Warning is there. If you decide not to review
it ... MS can't force you.
