Defaulting Bullet Styles in Word 2007

Mandy

Hi

I have changed the normal word template in 2007 to my own preferences using
the instructions below:

http://articles.techrepublic.com.com/5100-10878_11-6137320.html

However, I have created three different bullet styles in the Styles window
but when I change the bullet identations in the paragraph window and press
the default setting in the instructions above, they don't save the changes I
made.

So, is there a way I can change my bullet styles to set as a default?

Your assistance would be greatly appreciated.

no way to change bullet button on ribbon bar

So if I've read these articles and links correctly, there is no way to 'disable' the default bullet button on the ribbon bar and force it to use the style that I've setup in my document? And I can't find a way to create my own bullet button that has a link to my style and put it on a ribbon bar or shortcut that will be part of my template and viewable when I share my template with other users. Is that correct?

Thanks for your insights!
