When clicking on a folder, a window pops up showing the contents of the
folder.

Is there a way to change the default size of the window? If so, how?

Hi Don,

The size of the window depends on the size of the last one open. Open just
one window, drag it to the size you want. Close it using file/close. This
should set it as the default size.

Hi Rick,

Thanks for the response. I know about the resizing and it will save for the
next time but can the default, the first opening be changed for all folders?

The steps previously listed should change the default for all folders, Don.
If you have other programs, etc. that have their own default start size,
then you would need to perform those steps for each.
