Default Web Page Save File Type in IE6...

I guess this would be the right place to ask.

I was wondering how to change the default file type in IE6 when saving a
webpage. It current defaults to "Web Page Complete .htm .html". I really
hate using this because it dumps an extra directory, usually with a long
ugly looking name, on the drive. When saving a webpage I much prefer the
"Singe File" .mht files. They are much easier to manage. I was wondering
how to set it to default to .mht. I imagine there is a registry key or
something to change this.

Use Web Page (HTML) only.
All will be set except that you will not get any images.
Create a folder just for these files, easier to manage.

Before you save the file you can modify the File Name.

As for the default, it cannot be changed, it's on the wish list of many.

That certainly sucks. I guess it's not like it takes forever to change it,
it's just inconvenient.

As for the Web Page only thing, the idea is mostly that I don't like having
a directory for the images. I'd rather it all be in one file.
