Default Web Browser Error

I have upgraded XP to SP2 and find that whenever I try
access Help & Support from the Start menu XP always tries
to open the link in IE first (resulting in an error).
Only then will it load the page in Firefox.

Any ideas where I can find the patch to this annoyance?

Hi,

Open Internet explorer.
click on tools | internet options.
then click on the programs tab.
uncheck this "IE should check to see whether it is the default browser"

Then u will not be prompted with this error.
