default theme for Outlook messages

I am using Word as my editor for Outlook 2003. If I want to apply a theme to an individual e-mail message, I do FOrmat | Theme and pick one. No problem. However, when I try to make that my default theme, I go to Tools | Options | Mail Format, and I select Stationary and Fonts. The same "theme" I want is not listed there at all. So, I tried to create a new stationary based on that theme, but I could not find that theme in any of the theme folders. Any suggestions? Is there a way to set select/set a default theme as opposed to stationary. Thanks.

I believe that after you create it in Word, you must save it as an htm file.
Then it should show up in the stationary picker. Give that a try.

Well... I did save it as a Web page and made sure it was in the correct
directory. I was happy to see that it showed up in the Outlook stationary
directory, and I made it the default. However, when I went to open a new
message to see it it worked, it did not, and I most of the choices (for
formatting an individual message) were now greyed out as well.
