Default save location

Can anyone tell me how to change the Windows default save location to another
folder of my choosing?

Right-click "My Documents" on the desktop, then
Properties, then change the Target Folder location.

In addition to the reply that you got, that depends on the application
as well. MS Office programs, for instance, allow for setting the default
location within their program options.
