Default profile type

When I sign on to a WinXp machine for the first time, it
creates a "roaming" profile by default. Can I change the
default profile type, the one first created for a new
user, to local?
I know how to manually change the type after, but I want
it to default to local...not roaming.

Get rid of the user's roaming profile share on the server? Rename it
temporarily if you want to use it on other machines?

You'll have to change the user's profile setting in the AD then.
