Default monitor installed...how do i change it?

It says default monitor is installed. Now i cant change screen resolution
and things wont load and i cant see all things on the screen. How do i
change this setting!? THAnks for the help!
 
You install the correct drivers for the actual monitor; usually available
from the manufacturer's web site.
