I would like to create a powerpoint presentation. Before I start the
production of the presentation, I would like to create a default slide as a
base, ie., with company logo, background, auto page number, etc. Can
someone advise me how to create such template.

Thanks,

Scott

Depending on your version of PowerPoint you can go in to the Slide master
create your template, i.e company logo, fonts etc Save this as a template
(.pot) file where you can reuse it whenever you want.

Just to elaborate on what Michael said, to go into the Slide master in
PowerPoint 200-2003, choose View > Master > Slide Master. To exit, click the
Close Master View button that appears in the slide master.

And to save as a template, choose File > Save As. From the Save as Type
drop-down list, choose Design Template (*.pot).
