default file sort order

Hi
Whenever I use any program in Windows Xp and go to File/Open the default
sort order for the files is in reverse alphabetical order with the folders at
the bottom.

How do I get the default restored so that they appear alphabetical again
with the folders at the top?

Open Windows Explorer and at the top of the list of folders and files is
"Name". Click on Name.
