My computer constantly plays the befault beep sound, every second. I can
shut if off by selecting none for the the sound option for default beep. i
would like to find out what is causing the computer to play this sound.

Hi,

A motherboard beep indicates a problem, it is a warning that something is
not right with the hardware. Go to the web site of your motherboard
manufacturer and pull up system specs for yours to find out what it means.
Do not ignore this problem, it will not go away. It may cause more problems
if you do not address it immediately.
