How do I turn off the debugger in XP.

Control Panel -> System -> Advanced -> "Startup and Recovery" ->
Settings -> "System Failure". Remove the check mark from
automatically restart and where it says "Write Debugging Information"
click the vertical arrow until "None" appears. OK your way out.
You're done.

Regards.

I tried doing what you said (twice) and I still get the
same message. Protection Error Debugger Detected.
etc. I have searched for WINICE SoftIce but my search
function doesn't find this program. Any other ideas
about how to remove the Debugger? Thanks

I Tried what you said, control panel, system, advanced,
startup and recovery system failure, and remove the check
mark, etc. This did not work. I still get the same "
Protection Error Debugger Detected message. Any other
ways to remove it? Tim
