Debug

Harry

Hi,
Just recently, OCCASIONALLY only, when I browse through my Window Explorer
and open a folder,
a STOP message pops up and says that it could not find a certain memory etc;
after closing this STOP window, another popup appears asking if I want to
DEBUG,
if I say NO, Explorer disappears and YES it goes into some short of strange
execution
by closing Explorer and icons on the desktop disappear and reappear.
Can someone please help to cure this problem? Thanks
Harry

Hi Harry,

1. What exact error message is displayed?
2. Without knowning more:

Check your settings here:

IE/Tools/Internet Options/Advanced/Disable Script Debugging and Display a
notification about every script error.

Disable the Script Debugger in IE (Line 142)
http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_tweaks.htm

If you continue to get the errors after trying the above and/or the settings
become unchecked, rename mdm.exe

I've done all these and seems to be OK, so far so good!

What is mdm.exe please?
