DEBUG: Error 2826: [Why does only happen on some machines?]

I have a problem with some MSI programs.

They fail with DEBUG: Error 2826:
MSI (c) (BC:58): Note: 1: 1708
MSI (c) (BC:58): Note: 1: 2262 2: Error 3: -2147287038
MSI (c) (BC:58): Note: 1: 2262 2: Error 3: -2147287038

But, this occurs only on some machines and not others. There is no
consistency or reason I can find.

What are the potential causes and possible fixes to this problem

Thanks,
Enzo

Do you have the exact verbose log file? Debug error 2826 has the following
text: "Control [3] on dialog [2] extends beyond the boundaries of the dialog [4]
by [5] pixels."

2826 is always sent as an informational message so it's not indicative of what
caused the installation to fail. 2826 will not fail the install. 2826 could be
referring to a problem with a control for an error dialog that is being created.
The error would have most likely happened before 2826 if it was the cause.
