Debug a Driver

Hi All
I have modified a diskperf driver code and installed it using addfilter.Just
as i expected the OS crashed.
So how can i debug thereby not crashing the OS.
Is there any way?

Get a copy of WinDBG from
http://www.microsoft.com/whdc/ddk/debugging/default.mspx, run this on your
development system and modify the boot.ini on your test system to allow
debugging. Beyond this is too much to respond in a newsgroup or email.

Use WinDbg (www.microsoft.com/ddk/debugging, free but requires 2 machines
and a null modem) or SoftICE (www.compuware.com, costs a lot but includes lots
of other components with it).
