de-activating XP product

I had installed XP-pro and XP-office on an OEM machine
which had win2K and office 2K. I bought the XP upgrade
media myself.

Now, I have a new OEM machine and I want to use both XP
products on the new machine. I know I will not be able to
activate them because MS has it on record that these
products are activated on the old machine.

I have already restored the old machine back to the OEM
configuration by re-formatting the hard drive and
installing the provided software (i.e. win2K/office2K).
So, XP-Pro and XP-office do not exist on the 1st machine
anymore.

So, how do I get the MS database to remove the entries
tying my XP-upgrades to the old machine so that I can
install them on my new machine?

David;
There is no de-activation process.
You have already removed them from the first computer.
The fact that the computer is OEM, makes no difference.
Simply install the software on the new computer.
Worst case is a 5 minute call to Microsoft.

However if the software is OEM, it may not be possible as OEM is
normally tied to the original computer and can not be transferred
regardless the condition of the original computer.
