Everytime I open Powerpoint (2000) a window opens with the heading
"DDE Server Window: Powerpnt.EXE-No Disk" and states that "There is no
disk in the drive. Please insert a disk in drive D:" However, after
pressing "Cancel", "Try Again" or "Continue" several times powerpoint
opens. Can anyone offer any help as to how to eradicate this problem.

Have you tried running Detect and Repair? (It's available on the PPT Help menu.)

Thanks very much the window is no longer coming up. However, I did
not try it on the laptop that I first received the problem on. If it
does not work on that system, I will make another post for more
advice. Thanks again, Echo.
