dcpormo, trying to remove AD from My Server.

Hi,

Is there a way to remove the Active Directory Installation, in a way other
than dcpromo utility. Because prompt this error (The domain "myDomain" is not
an active directory domain, or an Active Directory domain controller for the
domain could not be contacted.

I have on my home testing PC win2000 Server, I have tried to install AD.
successfully done. but not worked.
I'm trying now to return back to server withount AD. I don't want to format
the HD to do that.
 
You can use the DCPROMO /FORCEREMOVAL provided you are running SP4
If you are running SP3, you will need to install a hotfix or SP4 to make
this feature available.
