DCom security

I've got an application that uses DCom security, users
connect to NT Server in order to use the app.

I can set up the security for a user for the first time
use, but when I reboot the machine and login as the same
user the application presents an error.

At present the only work around I have is to reset the
DCom security for the user again.
Then inform the user to lock the workstation at the end of
each day.

Any Suggestions would be appriciated.

You are setting the launch/access permissions using
the dcomcnfg part of the Component Services applet
of admin tools ??

Roger,
No, I'm not, the application has its own Security config
settings area, where I set LocalGroup, Domain name,
UserName and Password, and there is a tick box "Set DCom
Security"

I have workstation policies in placeand it seems to me
that when the user reboots the workstation policy resets
the dcom security

Thanks
Gazman

Did you try setting these with the Windows supplied
tools (in Component Services) ?
I do not know where the app supplied interface is writing
its info into the registry, so it is very possible that it is
getting wiped out, or just going the wrong place for XP
to find it, whereas the app did see the info during the boot
when it was set and so uses it.
