DCOM got error "overlapped I/O operation is in progress"

Received the error DCOM got error "overlapped I/O operation is in progress." and was unable to logon GBTINET\eBCMComponents in order to run the server

This error just started occurring after a series of ice storms gave some momentary shutdowns of the server. We had the DCOM component set to run as "This User" with the Identity of a valid user name and password on the local server. We hav also run "synciwam.vbs" but the same error occurs

We are currently considering a reinstall of the Windows 2000 software (simply reinstalling it in the same location as the original install).

Can anyone offer opinions or recommendations
