I have received errors on, say, 1/4 of the workstations in my domain.
The error message is something like the follows
Source: DCOM
Event ID: 10005
User: NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM
Computer: computer001
Description:
DCOM has encountered "service does not reponse to start or control service
within time limit. ",when try to start MSIServer with pararmeter "" during
running server: {000C101C-0000-0000-C000-000000000046}
2 other Service Control Manager errors are shown on the same problem.
Got a feeling that this has something to do with the Auto Update or Windows
Update which I have enabled. However I am not sure about it.
Any idea?
