I have attempted to find and stop indicated problems with no success. I
have seen refernces to "lots of DCOM" errors in reading groups.

I am sorry to say I do not know. Something with IIS I assume.
Suggest you repost here with "IIS / DCOM svc error" or similar or
possibly try a IIS group.
