DCOM error id:10003

All updates are installed and running latest SP.
I looked at event viewer and noticed that I'm getting DCOM errors (eventID
10003) every 5-10 minutes.
The event description is this:
Access denied attempting to launch a DCOM Server using
DefaultLaunchPermssion. The server is:
{00020906-0000-0000-C000-000000000046}
The user is Unavailable/Unavailable, SID=Unavailable.

After about a day or so (and a lot of DCOM errors) my XP crashes to
bluescreen.
What is causing this error and could it be the reason for the crash?
The error appears in the log only if I have the network cable connected. So
it must be an attack from the net.

This problem is giving me gray hair. Someone, please help.

Any ideas?

Installed ZoneAlarm and it seems to have solved my problems. I haven't
gotten any DCOM errors after I installed the software.
