DCDIAG, FRSYSVOL Error

J

Jason Hall

I seem to be recieving a strange message when i run the
DCDIAG on my server running WIN2K SP4 with Exchange 2000.
The server seems to be working alright. I have three
other servers in the domain.

Both the Netlogon and the Sysvol folders are shared out
when the system first starts up. Yet DCDIAG gives me this
non specific error.

Thanks in Advance.

What's dcdiag /v say? And are there any errors in the File Replication
Service Event Log?

The "non-specific error" is just saying that you most likely have a
warning message in you event log. Look in you File Replication Service
Event Log for an NtFrs warning message. If you run the health check
from the Windows Support tools, it typically gives you the time stamp
of the event it is referring to.
