desktop (win98SE) in an infrared network so that the
briefcase function will operate between the two of them.

The IR Link is operating and i can transfer files, but the
computers won't connect with the laptop saying...
Error 770: The remote computer rejected the connection
attempt.
The Desktop says (after starting the DCC program...
Is the guest computer running?

I don't know what else to try after following the advice
from http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-

I have read Microsoft Knowledge Base Article - 259819
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-
us;259819 and wondered if this was true for XP?
