DC lost OU

Hi,

I recently experienced problems on a domain and was forced into running a
forced removal on dcpromo. The server was then dcpromo'd back into the
domain and what seems to have happened now is replication has stopped as I
cannot see the same OU's on this server as I can - it looks like it has just
a replica of the standard groups / builtin's.

Any ideas? Guess I need a restore but I know theres a repl issue as when i
use sites and svcs to force a replication - it comes up with an RPC server
unavail error.

Any help is appreciated.

did you clean up AD before you repromoted? If not that is your problem.

Don't remove anything yet.

Get out repadmin and look at any errors is tells you are occuring in the
replication process. I would also look at the directory services event log
carefully.
