dbx storage location non-existant

Running WindowsXP with Outlook Express version 6.0
Attempting to import .dbx message file into Outlook
express.
To do this, I've read that you need to place
your .dbx file into the directory where Outlook stores
your mailbox (Inbox.dbx). To find this directory
location, you need to right-click the Inbox folder in
Outlook, and then click Properties. It will tell you the
folder in which the Inbox.dbx file is stored. Problem is,
after many searches and exploring, this directory does not
exist on my PC.
Outlook says that Inbox.dbx exists under
"C:\Documents and Settings\Peg Nicosia\Local Settings"
The directory Local Settings does not exist under Peg
Nicosia.

Any ideas on how to get around this
would be greatly appreciated.

It's a hidden folder. Use Control Panel -> Folder Options -> tab View to
make them visible.

Note that this is an Microsoft Office Outlook forum.

Outlook Express is family of Internet Explorer and Outlook of the Office
family.
