Outlook (part of Office suite) uses ONE file with the extension pst. Outlook
EXPRESS, (part of Internet Explorer) uses MANY files, with the extension
dbx. So no, you won't fine dnx files in Outlook.

If you delete a message in Outlook, then open your Deleted Items folder and
move it back to where it belongs. If you've emptied your Deleted Items
folder, consider it gone for good. You can attempt to get it back with the
techniques described here:
http://www.howto-outlook.com/howto/restoredeleteditemsfromanoutlookpst.htm
but many find the process daunting.
