The syntax is almost exactly the same. How is that not simular? It my
compile or be interpreted differently but using it is very simular, at
least in context of other languages.
You didn't bother quoting any of the message, but I'll assume you're
commenting on my post that "ASP is nothing like VB or VBA. VBScript, one of
the languages you can use with ASP, is a lot like VB or VBA."
ASP isn't a programming language: it's a programming environment. You can
program in it using VBScript (which I agree is very similar to VB or VBA),
or you can program using JavaScript, which isn't that similar.
That is true. Can you program ASP classic in something other than VB
syntax? I haven't dealt with ASP classic in awhile. I know ASP.NET
you can do almost any MS syntax.
