Dates on outgoing email

When I send an email message, the time stamp on it is always 1 hour earlier
than I actually sent it - see below example of mail that I sent at 11:21
this morning. I am using XP standard and Microsoft Office Pro 2003. The time
stamp on incoming messages is correct and my PC clock is also correct. Any
ideas much appreciated.

The usual cause of this is a mismatch in the time zone and/or DST setting
between Outlook's Calendar and Windows' clock. Make sure they BOTH agree.

Thanks for taking the time to reply Brian. I've checked tools / options /
calendar options / time zone and all looks fine (the "current time" is
displayed correctly) and the time and time zone are the same as windows.
I've sent a couple of test emails to my hotmail account and the "time sent"
is definitely an hour before it was actually sent. However, in my "sent
items" folder, the sent time is correctly displayed.

I've tried manipulating the time zone in calendar, but whatever I set it too
seems to have no impact.

Weird!

The server could have the wrong time zone or daylight setting.

But you neglected to mention whether or not the DST settings agree.
