Dates and things

Guys,

I have a user who up until the other day had no problems with Outlook.

I performed a windows update which was successful and then attempted an
Office update with failed. That was when the problem started. The dates have
gone from being UK dates dd/mm/yyyy to being American mm/dd/yyyy. I have
checked everywhere on the machine to make sure that everything that should be
English (U.K.) is correct. I have even reinstalled Office but to no avail.

If I log on there then it's fine, the messages show with the date in UK
format. But for her it goes back to US.

Anyone got any ideas?

When she is logged on, check her Control Panel > Regional and Language
Options. Is the desired date format set there?

SgtRich,

Users do not have permissions to access that part of Control Panel.

I'm thinking it may be something to do with either her Profile or Outlook
Application data. What do people think?

Regards,
Ash.

I'm no expert but I don't think date formats are configurable in either of
those.
