I am using winxp pro and MSOffice 2003

When I create new emails I would like it to automatically insert the
date and time in the format that I use.

Is this possible, and if so, could you point me to the info on how to do
it?

TIA
Joanne

1) Go to Tools - Options - Mail Format and make sure 'Use Microsoft Office
Word 2003 to edit email messages' is checked.
2) Alt - I - T brings up a list to choose from.
-or-
Type the first four letters of the month, hit enter to select the month,
continue typing today's date (eg, febr-enter-space-23) and Word should offer
today's date, assuming you have autotext enabled.

Unfortunately, it doesn't look like there's a simple keystroke defined in
Word to insert the current date/time, which strikes me as odd as I thought
there used to be.
