date & time on install

On install of XP, I always click to automatically adjust clock for daylight
savings
time. After the install, this is NEVER saved. This happens on every
install I do.
Is this a problem with XP or am I missing something?

Without watching what you are doing, it's hard to say. Are you sure you
are setting the time zone correctly? I've never had a Windows machine
*fail* to keep track of the time change, so it must be something you
are doing. Maybe you routinely install a third-party time
synchronization program and it somehow interferes?

The clock on my computer, and another person at work will automatically
advance 9 minutes. When we change it back, it will stay like that for a
little while then advance the 9 minutes again??? This is only since we
installed XP. Any help on this problem? Thank you in advance!

Are the work computers connected to a server? If yes, time synchronization
and the time that will be displayed is controlled by the server. If this is
the case, it sounds like the server's "master" time is 9 minutes ahead of
these two work stations.
