Date/Time Display

For the past several months, whenever I turn on my pc, the computer's date
and time are set at December 2001, around 1pm. Each time I turn on my pc, I
have to reset the date/time display (right click on icon in system tray) to
the present date and time. Can anyone tell me why this is happening and how
to correct it?

How old your PC?, you may need to replace the CMOS Battery on the Motherboard.
