Date problem when merging with data from excel worksheet

Appreciate if any kind soul can provide any advice on this issue.
ISSUE : I merged a word file with an excel worksheet but the date turns out
differently. It did work initially but after that it just went crazy.

I wanted the date to be displayed as e.g " November 2009 " in Words but it
is displayed as "1/11/09". In excel, the cell format is set as "custom: MMMM
YYYY" so it show "November 2009" perfectly.

I have set the regional and language optionto U.S format and Words to U.S
format too. Is there any switches that need to be added to do the trick ?

The funny part about it, is that it work initially for 4 set of document but
after that, it just went nurmeric.

Hope to hear from everyone here. Thanks in advance !

You have to add a date/time picture switch to the merge field. The
appropriate switch in this case would be \a "MMMM yyyy".

Thanks, Paul. That's not the first time I've done that lately, but the other
times I caught myself!
